Katherine Brookes©2008-2018
In August 2017 Katherine Brookes reclaimed the World Record for the ‘Longest Flute
Marathon’ in the World, playing for 27 hours 32 minutes and 32 seconds in aid of
Cancer Research UK.
This amazing achievement took place at Bedworth Civic Hall, Warwickshire in front
of a live audience and witnesses and raised over £1000 for charity.
Katherine would like to thank all those people who came and supported her, as well
as all the staff at the Bedworth Civic Hall, and the people of Nuneaton & Bedworth,
and beyond, who gave so generously to such a worthy cause.
‘Without your help it would not have been possible, so thank you from the bottom
of my heart.’
